Symptoms

F5 OpenStack LBaaSv2 driver code can produce many iControl REST API calls against a BIG-IP VE device. Some of those API calls get 401 responses and so, the whole configuration procedure fails.

Impact

iControl API returns 401 error, even if the admin password is correct.

Conditions

iControl authentication code executes a pam-authenticator command to verify admin password, and the pam-authenticator command often fails, if we run several processes of it at the same time
