Symptoms

Memory usage in statsd will continue to grow until the control-plane is out of memory.

Impact

The statsd may consume excessive memory causing OOM killer activity.

Conditions

This issue occurs when the license on the BIG-IP disables some of the processors. Following are the affected platforms: C123 = iSeries i11000 - Discovery Extreme C124 = iSeries i11000-DS - Discovery Extreme Turbo

Workaround

Restart statsd periodically.

Fix Information

The statsd no longer leaks memory.
