Symptoms

ZebOS does not show the 'log syslog' or 'no log syslog' in the running configuration, nor is it saved to the startup configuration. There is no way to verify if the 'log syslog' is configured or not by checking the configuration.

Impact

There is no way to verify if the 'log syslog' is configured or not by checking the configuration.

Conditions

-- Under Configure log syslog. -- Check the show running-config.

Workaround

If logging to syslog is not desired, it must be re-disabled every time the ZebOS daemons are started, using 'no log syslog'.
