Symptoms

HSB experiences an HSB transmitter failure, triggering a NIC failsafe reboot of the device. This can be observed in the TMM logs: tmm:<13> localhost notice *** TMM 0 - PDE 0 PCI 2:0.1 IF 0.1 - transmitter failure *** tmm:<13> localhost notice *** TMM 0 - LBB hsb_lbb0 PCI 2:0.0 - transmitter failure *** And the LTM logs: ltm:localhost crit tmm[23358]: 01010025:2: Device error: hsb hsb interface 0 DMA lockup on transmitter failure ltm:localhost warning overdog[7377]: 01140029:4: high availability (HA) nic_failsafe tmm fails action is reboot.
