There are cases where the HSB and switch report pause frames on the HSB <-> switch interfaces. This can be seen in the switch interface stats: name counters.rx_pause ---- ----------------- 9.1 11522051 10.1 11392101
There can be an impact on networking traffic.
The iSeries platforms with an HSB and switch.
There is no workaround for this issue. When this condition happens, the unit needs to be rebooted to clear the issue.
