Symptoms

Removal of the following tenant configurations from F5OS management CLI does not remove the corresponding configurations from the tenant: - VLAN - virtual wire - trunk

Impact

Unused configurations are left behind in the tenant.

Conditions

Removal of VLAN, virtual wire, or trunk from platform tenant configuration.

Workaround

Remove the residual configuration that was left behind in the tenant and restart renant. For example, remove the virtual wire configuration in the tenant after the removal of the virtual wire configuration from F5OS management CLI: [root@localhost:Active:Standalone] config # tmsh delete net vlan-group VWIRE_4096_4096_vg [root@localhost:Active:Standalone] config # tmsh delete net vlan VWIRE_4096_4096_client [root@localhost:Active:Standalone] config # tmsh delete net vlan VWIRE_4096_4096_server [root@localhost:Active:Standalone] config # tmsh save sys config Reboot tenant [root@localhost:Active:Standalone] config # reboot or Redeploy(configured->deployed) the tenant from F5OS tenant deployments
