Symptoms

The BIG-IP RSTs connection with Internal error in tcpproxy bad transition.

Impact

Connection closes abruptly on serverside.

Conditions

Issue occurs when following condition is met: Client - DUT1 - DUT2 - Server -> Configure https virtual server on both DUT1 and DUT2 -Configure client-ssl profile with 'maximum-record-size' set to 256 and unclean-shutdown to disabled - Configure tcp profile with nagle enabled -> On DUT1 configure a default https in-tmm monitor monitoring a DUT2. -> On Server, make sure the response spans 3 to 4 times the SSL record size.
