Symptoms

Generating SNMP traps for IPv6 is not working.

Impact

SNMP traps for IPv6 addresses won't work.

Conditions

1. Configure SNMP traps for an IPv6 address: appliance-1# show system snmp system snmp engine-id state engine-id 80:00:2f:f4:03:00:94:a1:38:33:02 system snmp engine-id state type mac system snmp state port 5000 system snmp targets target v1_target state name v1_target state community c1 state security-model v1 state ipv6 address 2620:128:e8:49:f816:3eff:fe9:248e state ipv6 port 5011 SECURITY NAME NAME MODEL ---------------------- c1 c1 [ v1 ] 2.
