Last Modified: May 29, 2024

Affected Product(s):
F5OS F5OS-A(all modules)

Fixed In:
F5OS-A 1.5.2, F5OS-A 1.5.1

Opened: Aug 02, 2023

Severity: 1-Blocking

Symptoms

Even if the user account is locked using GUI, the authentication is successful for the current user account.

Impact

The user account is not locked thus enabling successful authentication.

Conditions

Unable to configure the locking of a user account in the backend.

Workaround

Added expiry-status to ConfD and UI to define an expiry date for a specific user account with "enabled", "locked", or <string>[YYYY-MM-DD] value. Or Add expiry-status in ConfD instead of UI to configure expiry of any user account except Admin or Root user account.

Fix Information

Added expiry-status to configure expiry of any user account.
