Symptoms

When using the Edge Client, the browser request to my.policy fails with an error "This site can't be reached" If you close the pop-up window and try again, a different error occurs: "Access policy evaluation is already in progress for your current session" If you click the link to create a new session, the original error occurs "This site can't be reached". On the BIG-IP system, there is no entry for port 10001 in "netstat -nap" command output.

Access policies are not accessible

Conditions

-- APM HA configuration -- A failover occurs

Workaround

Restart apmd process.
