Symptoms

When attaching BWC to a route domain the following logs are observed: notice PKTFILTER: eh_cfg_handle_policy_detach/1428: Detaching policy from context default: 0, route-domain: 20000 notice PKTFILTER: eh_matching_context_rd_detach/207: Detaching policy from route domain 20000 notice PKTFILTER: eh_matching_context_rd_detach/219: ERROR! Cannot detach policy from route domain 20000, no policy attached notice PKTFILTER: eh_cfg_handle_policy_detach/1463: ERROR! Detaching policy from route-domain 20000, but no policy attached there notice PKTFILTER: eh_cfg_handle_cmd/1642: ERROR! Error in cfg operation detach (4) on type context (4),policy n/a, rule n/a, eh-type policy, value 192-4 - ERR_VAL

Impact

The bandwidth policy is not attached to the router domain. It cannot be attached from the webUI to the router domain.

Conditions

The bandwidth control policy is attached to a route domain.

Workaround

Attach the bandwidth policy as an irule to the virtual server, as recommended in this article https://my.f5.com/manage/s/article/K000135196
