When creating an LTM virtual server with source-address-translation and attempting to assign a pool to this property, the pool will not be applied unless the type is explicitly set to snat. Although it may appear successful, reviewing the LTM logs will reveal the correct log message indicating the issue.
The LTM virtual object will be created, but the source-address-translation will not include a pool.
