Severity: 3-Major

Symptoms

TMM crashes with a SIGSEGV in hud_satellite_process_egress() when pcb->mate is NULL due to a stale SATELLITE node remaining in the server-side HUD chain after connection reuse.

Impact

An intermittent TMM crash causes traffic disruption when server-side connections are reused with a stale SATELLITE node in the HUD chain.

Conditions

TMM crashes with a SIGSEGV in hud_satellite_process_egress() when pcb->mate is NULL, caused by a stale SATELLITE node remaining in the server-side HUD chain after connection reuse.

Workaround

There is no stable workaround; a partial mitigation involves disabling OneConnect or reducing connection reuse to prevent stale SATELLITE nodes from being carried across connections.
