Symptoms

After logging in to the BIG-IP Configuration Utility, some pages display the error "Error getting auth token from login provider." Affected pages include Device Management, Shared Objects, and iApps Application Services

Impact

- Remote users with usernames containing backslash or at sign cannot access some - Configuration Utility pages. Other pages and CLI access are unaffected

Conditions

- BIG-IP is configured to use a remote authentication provider (such as Active Directory, LDAP, or RADIUS) - The remote user's username contains a backslash or an at sign character (for example, DOMAIN\username or user@domain)
