Affected Product(s):
BIG-IP AVR
Known Affected Versions:
17.5.1.6, 17.5.1.8
Opened: Jun 19, 2026 Severity: 3-Major
On BIG-IP VE with AVR TCP Analytics enabled, the Statistics > Analytics > TCP > Goodput dashboard may display TCP Goodput values in the terabyte range, even though actual traffic remains within the licensed 10 Gbps capacity. The displayed Goodput value is inaccurate
The values displayed under Statistics > Analytics > TCP > Goodput may not accurately represent actual TCP throughput
Occurs when TCP Analytics is enabled on a virtual server, and TCP sequence numbers wrap around during traffic processing
The ESXi host showed a single physical core reaching nearly 100% utilization on a "NetWorld" thread, causing significant network latency during periods of high traffic (~4 Gbps). Analysis indicated that network processing was not being adequately distributed across the host CPUs They applied the recommendations described in the following knowledge base articles: https://knowledge.broadcom.com/external/article/312057/high-virtual-network-throughput-performa.html https://knowledge.broadcom.com/external/article/402459/nsx-workload-edge-throughput-performanc.html
