Bug ID 2355241: AOM fault alarm is not raised, when LOP health checks failed

Last Modified: Aug 24, 2026

Affected Product(s):
F5OS F5OS-A(all modules)

Fixed In:
F5OS-A 1.8.4-HR1

Opened: Jun 26, 2026

Severity: 2-Critical

Symptoms

The system does not raise an AOM fault alarm when Loss of Power (LOP) health checks fail. No alarm appears in the show system alarms output, even when LOP health check failures are detected.

Impact

LOP health check failures go undetected through the alarm system. Without an alarm, you may not be aware of potential power-related issues affecting the Always-On Management subsystem.

Conditions

This issue occurs under all conditions when LOP health checks fail. No specific configuration or trigger is required to reproduce the issue.

Workaround

None.

Fix Information

The 'aom-fault' alarm now triggers when LOP health checks fail.
