Symptoms

When uploading a tenant image or F5OS ISO via the GUI file utility, the upload fails with a "Copy Failed" error message. Logs for utils-agent show: msg="file upload error" error="Failed to move file to destination path" msg="File change path failed, so deleting the uploaded file."

Impact

Admin cannot upload tenant images or F5OS ISO files via the GUI. Uploaded file is automatically deleted by the system after the failed move operation.

Conditions

User attempts to upload tenant image or F5OS ISO using the GUI file utility feature

Workaround

You may select one of the following options below: 1. Use GUI Import instead of Upload — In the F5OS GUI, use the Import function (import via URL from an accessible repository) rather than Upload. 2. Use SCP to push the file directly to the F5OS system.
