If the web server cannot recover after an unexpected worker restart, the Configuration utility stops loading pages, and browser requests time out
You cannot use the Configuration utility until the web server is restarted. SSH, tmsh, and traffic processing remain available
- BIG-IP 21.1.0 while the Configuration utility is in use. Persistent loss of access occurs if the web server also fails to recover after the worker restart
Connect using SSH and run the restart sys service httpd to restore Configuration utility access
