After an iQuery peer left the sync group, monitor logs showed probe failures (e.g., "Monitor instance ... UP --> DOWN" and "The number of successful probes to <v> changed from 2 to 1") while tmsh show gtm virtual still reported Availability: available
Incorrect monitor status of monitored objects
This issue occurs when a GTM virtual (OR) a GTM pool (OR) a GTM pool member uses require 1 from 2, one iQuery prober disconnects (iqmgmt leaves the sync group), and the remaining prober subsequently fails; stale "UP" responses from the departed prober are counted
The problem goes away after restarting gtmd or removing "monitor require 1 from 2"
None
