Bug ID 2553445: AVR/SSL Orchestrator URL, host name, URL category and user statistics are lost after upgrade

Last Modified: Oct 20, 2026

Affected Product(s):
BIG-IP AVR(all modules)

Known Affected Versions:
21.1.0.2, 21.1.0.3

Opened: Oct 01, 2026

Severity: 2-Critical

Symptoms

After upgrading, SSL Orchestrator analytics views that depend on URL category, URL, host name or user names (for example 'show analytics ssl-orchestrator report view-by url-category') return "No data available", and the matching SSL Orchestrator dashboard widgets show "No Data". Other statistics such as client IP addresses and cipher versions may still be displayed.

Impact

Historical AVR statistics for the affected SSL Orchestrator dimensions (URL category, URL, host name, user) are permanently lost after the upgrade. Traffic processing is not affected.

Conditions

- SSL Orchestrator is provisioned with AVR and has collected URL category data. - The system is upgraded to a new software version. - During the first boot of the new version, monpd imports the saved upgrade data and then the AVR database is rebuilt (for example because the AVR database is recreated on the application volume).
