Symptoms

BGP default-originate is not announced to peers if several are configured as peers over different VLANs.

Impact

Only some of the peered neighbors get the default route.

Conditions

-- default-originate is configured on four similar neighbors. -- The neighbors are reachable over different interfaces/subnets.

Workaround

Add the following to the the BGP configuration: network 0.0.0.0/0

Fix Information

All peered neighbors now get the default route.
