Symptoms

A false positive virus-detected violation. The description of the violation explains that the ICAP server was not contacted.

Impact

Violation is detected where no violation has occurred (false positive violation).

Conditions

-- A long XML upload or payload. -- The assigned XML profile is configured to be inspected by the ICAP server.

Workaround

Increase the internal parameter max_raw_request_len to the required length of the XML. Note: This workaround will affect the amount of logged data from ASM.

Fixed a false positive virus-detected violation related to long XML uploads.
