Symptoms

Kernel panic possible when mcpd shutdown occurs. The mcpd shutdown may be explicit (bigstart stop), or as a side-effect of system shutdown.

Impact

The system crashes when running the following command: bigstart stop. Otherwise, there is a kernel panic when the system shuts down.

Conditions

Conditions are rare, and requires encountering a small timing window. -- Multiple admin domains defined. -- At least two admin domains have a default route interface called 'tmm'.

Workaround

None.

Fix Information

There is no longer a kernel panic with mcpd or system shutdown.
