Software installation on secondary blade of VIPRION or VIPRION-based vCMP guest fails due to a race condition. There are log entries in /var/log/liveinstall.log: -- error: status 256 returned by command: F5_INSTALL_SESSION_TYPE=install tmsh -f save sys ucs /var/tmp/kRf24pKXTQ.ucs. -- info: tar: config/.ucs_base_mac: Cannot stat: No such file or directory. -- info: Unexpected Error: UCS saving process failed.
Software installation fails.
-- Installing onto secondary VIPRION blade or onto VIPRION-based vCMP guest.
You can use either workaround: -- Add 'ignore .ucs_base_mac' to the 'monitor dir /config' stanza in /etc/csyncd.conf on all blades, and then restart csyncd on all blades by running "clsh bigstart restart csyncd" -- Retry the installation until it succeeds.
