In the unlikely event of a HSB lock-up, certain BIG-IP platforms may take longer than expected to detect and recover from the condition. For instance, it may take several minutes for an affected unit to detect the condition and initiate the predefined failsafe action. Instead, the recovery mechanism should trigger almost instantaneously.
Traffic is negatively impacted until the BIG-IP system detects and remedies the condition. This might take up to 15 minutes before remedied by a reboot, depending on other traffic being processed.
This issue occurs when all of the following conditions are met: -- The BIG-IP system is an i56xx/i58xx, i76xx/i78xx, or i106xx/i108xx platform. -- The HSB locks-up due to a different issue.
None.
The HSB lock-up is now promptly detected and remedied.
