Symptoms

NTLM passthrough authentication may stop working after upgrade.

Impact

APM end users cannot login.

Conditions

-- NTLM authentication configured. -- Upgraded to a BIG-IP software version that contains the implementation for the Microsoft Internet Explorer feature, 'Enhanced protected mode' (EPM). -- There are more than two protocol sequence towers included in the EPM response.

Workaround

None.

Fix Information

The system can now parse EPM response as expected.
