The 'bigstart restart bigstart' command shuts down the system without displaying or informing the BIG-IP system user that this command can interrupt service. The system goes directly to the inoperative state as soon as the command is run.
Different versions appear to have different behavior: -- v12.1.5: shell hangs on bigstart command, but the BIG-IP system stays Active. -- v13.1.0.7: The BIG-IP system goes inoperative upon 'bigstart restart bigstart'. -- 1v4.1.2.3: The 'bigstart restart bigstart' command cannot find the 'bigstart' service, but 'systemctl restart systemd-bigstart' shows this behavior.
