If a cert is created with a name that contains * (asterisk) or \ (backslash) or [] (square braces) anywhere within the cert (has the file extension .crt), the cert cannot be deleted using the GUI.
The certificate is still present. The GUI displays the message: No records to display.
-- Certificate names containing * or \ or [] for example: *example.crt example*e.crt eaxmple*.crt \example.crt exampl\e.crt example\.crt [e]xample.crt e[x]ample.crt exampl[e].crt -- Select the checkbox in the GUI and click Delete.
You can use TMSH to delete these certs: Note: The following characters must be escaped in the tmsh command: * \ [ ] For example: tmsh delete sys file ssl-cert '\*example'
