The "bcmLINK" process (sometimes referred to as "bcm56xxd") may fail with a segmentation fault and be restarted, leaving behind a core-dump file for "bcmLINK". An error message may be logged about the condition "max_mbrs > 0".

Momentary disruption of traffic handling by TMM.
