Symptoms

Unable to delete monitor with an error similar to: 01070083:3: Monitor /Common/my-mon is in use.

Impact

Unable to delete object(s) no longer in use.

Conditions

-- Monitors are attached directly to pool members, or node-level monitors exist. -- Issuing the "reloadlic" command, which causes the configuration to get rebuilt implicitly.

Workaround

When the system enters this state, save and reload the configuration using the following command: tmsh save sys config && tmsh load sys config
