Multiple software installation tasks on a BIG-IQ (like installing software to a new volume) can be performed in such a manner that they conflict with each other, resulting in an unexpected outcome.
The first task will attempt to complete and may perform an action no longer valid or desired (like attempting to reboot to a non-existent software volume).
Perform a software installation task and pause it before it fully completes, start and/or complete a second task that overlaps with the first and then attempt to resume the first task afterwards.
Execute a single software installation task at a time and do not run a second software installation task until the first task has completed.
