Symptoms

Options to enable DHCP for the management interface are available on vCMP guests.

Impact

VCMP guest can be configured with options that are incompatible with VCMP operation. This might result in a loss of management IP in the guest after a reboot

Conditions

-- BIG-IP vCMP guest running on an appliance

Workaround

Do not attempt to DHCP on the management interface of a vCMP guest.
