An i15x00 series platform may experience HSB CRC errors. This is reported in the LTM logs: Mar 13 03:44:25 localhost crit tmm7[28490]: 01010025:2: Device error: hsbe2 hsb_lbb2 hde2_crc_errs count 3010 This results in an high availability (HA) event, either go-offline-downlinks or a reboot depending on the BIG-IP version.
When this condition occurs, the unit is taken offline, requiring either manual intervention if the high availability (HA) action is to go-offline-downlinks or a disruption of traffic if the high availability (HA) action is reboot.
i15x00 series platforms. It's unclear if this issue is specific to configuration, but seems unlikely.
A reboot of the unit can clear the issue.
