Symptoms

Rebooting a BIG-IP system or restarting core system components after importing a SSL certificate from a PKCS12 file may cause the newly imported certificate to become lost.

Impact

Potential for SSL traffic disruption after certificate is lost.

Conditions

PKCS12 file imported from the GUI (System->Certificate Management->Traffic Certificate Management->SSL Certificate List->Import)

Workaround

Perform the config save command manually from the tmsh utility: tmsh save / sys config partitions all or if accessing tmsh directly: save /sys config partitions all
