If the /var/log directory is full, Data Collection Devices services cannot process statistics data.

Impact

Statistics collection stops working.

Conditions

If /var/log directory is full.

Workaround

Edit /var/config/appiq/[service name]/config/lo4j2.xml As follows: ignoreExceptions="true" Restart the service. Example appiqagent in the Data Collection Device and queryservice BIG-IQ. Or on the Data Collection Device: - Free up space in /var/log. - Restart appiqagent using command "tmsh restart sys service appiqagent"
