Symptoms

When deploying an SSL Orchestrator application containing an APM configuration from BIG-IQ to a managed BIG-IP device, the following error occurs: Coordinator failed during working-config update, roll-back working-config started; reason: Worker http://localhost:8100/cm/access/working-config/apm/policy/policy-item failed validation with status 500: java.lang.IllegalStateException: <SSL Orchestrator app object> refers to nonexistent object.

Impact

The BIG-IP device's APM service is affected.

Conditions

If any APM policy objects are created as part of the SSL Orchestrator application, the APM import fails.
