Symptoms

The BIG-IP platform fails to display the following message when no bootable device (e.g., drive, USB, PXE) is found: No valid boot device found. Insert a boot device and press any key to reboot. You will instead be presented with the F5 BIOS setup barrier warning: /----------- Entering BIOS Setup -----------\ | | | Caution: Changing settings in BIOS setup | | can cause the system to become unstable. | | | | BIOS setup is ONLY intended for F5 | | internal use. | | | |-------------------------------------------| | Cancel Continue | \-------------------------------------------/

You are not presented with the correct message when no bootable device is found

Conditions
