Opened: Sep 05, 2022
Severity: 0-Unspecified

Symptoms

The users are blocked from configuring proxy-exclude list with valid self-IPs. tmsh modify net vlan-group /part5/RD5-VLAN-GRP proxy-excludes add { 10.10.20.196 } 0107098a:3: The ip address (10.10.20.196%5) for a proxy exclusion in partition () references a route domain (5) in a different partition (rd5). Objects may only reference objects in the same or the 'Common' partition

Impact

The following command fails: tmsh modify net vlan-group /part5/RD5-VLAN-GRP proxy-excludes add { 10.10.20.196 }

Conditions

#tmsh create auth partition part5 #tmsh create net route-domain /part5/rd5 id 5 #tmsh modify auth partition part5 default-route-domain 5

Workaround

The following are the workarounds for this issue: -- Modify the below command to create route-domain in /Commom #tmsh create net route-domain /part5/rd5 id 5 To be modified as: #tmsh create net route-domain rd5 id 5 -- Manually edit the bigip.conf file in partitions and add IP address manually, and then reload the config.
