Symptoms

While a captcha is generated in the clients browser, it is not possible to solve the captcha due to a CSS spinner element that covers the captcha, the captcha and the login page seems to be stuck.

Impact

Not possible to resolve the CAPTCHA due to CSS spinner hanging.

Conditions

SPA and AJAX blocking page with brute force configuration, resulting in a hanging CAPTCHA due to CSS spinner covering the CAPTCHA.

Workaround

In few cases, the client can configure the login page and set "z-index" to a value lower than "9999".
