Symptoms

When an SFP is defective or not functioning properly, interfaces that do not use the defective SFP can go down.

Impact

In addition to interfaces that use the defective SFP, other unrelated interfaces may go down as well.

Conditions

A defective SFP is connected to a BIG-IP system.

Workaround

This issue occurs when a defective SFP is connected on a BIG-IP system. Please ensure all SFPs are functional and connected properly.
