Symptoms

Once the VPN tunnel is established, the session may close, and the following types of logs can be observed /var/log/apm: Sep 28 15:16:52 local-test.apm notice tmm3[5046]: 01490576:5: /Common/test-ap-na-01:Common:ee6f5254 Session invalidated due to profile scope mismatch (expected '/Common/test-ap-na-01', got '/Common/test-ap-na-02').

Impact

The VPN tunnel cannot be properly established using Edge Client on macOS.

Conditions

Two virtual servers running on the same IP but different ports (standard port 443 and another non-standard port, like 843). Two virtual servers have two access policies with a Profile Scope of "Profile".

Workaround

Use the browser-based VPN instead of Edge Client Or, Access a virtual server running on a standard port (443) Or, Change Profile Scope to "Global".
