Bug ID 1403777: Network Access Client “Terminate” power management now correctly disconnects on system sleep

Last Modified: Jan 05, 2026

Affected Product(s):
APM-Clients APM(all modules)

Known Affected Versions:
7.2.4.5, 7.2.4.6, 7.2.4.7, 7.2.4.8, 7.2.5, 7.2.5.1, 7.2.5.2, 7.2.5.3, 7.2.6, 7.2.6.1

Opened: Nov 27, 2023

Severity: 3-Major

Symptoms

- With Power Management option set to Terminate, putting the system to sleep does not fully terminate the active tunnel - After resuming, the tunnel remains connected.

Impact

- Tunnel/session not fully disconnected during sleep. - Potential policy/security expectation mismatch (session persists across sleep instead of forcing a new login).

Conditions

- Network Access Client connected using Edge Client - Client Power Management option set to Terminate - System is put to sleep (manual sleep)

Workaround

Fix / Resolution ( Update to latest version ) - Terminate behavior will now fully disconnect by logging out the user during sleep. - On resume, the client prompts for login (re-authentication required) before re-establishing access. - Prevent and Ignore options were already functioning as expected; this fix specifically addresses Terminate.
