Symptoms

On Windows 10 and 11, the Edge Client VPN connection fails with the “Something Went Wrong, Communication with server Failed” error message.

Impact

Unable to establish the Edge client VPN connection.

Conditions

Edge Client VPN connection fails, 1. In Windows 10/11 2. During SAML authentication on a Web Browser. 3. When the user clicks on the Connect button in Edge Client. 4. When the user clicks on the Disconnect button during the EPI security check. 5. When the user clicks on the Connect button in the Edge client.

Workaround

Close the instance and other tabs of the web browser, which were opened for authentication. Click the Connect button to establish a successful VPN connection.
