EdgeClient installation fails on certain Windows systems when the CustomDialer component is included in the EdgeClient.exe package.
Installation fails and throwing an error as below. "Service F5 Networks Pre-logon Helper Service(F5PrelogonHelperService64) failed to start. Verify that You have sufficient privileges to start system services."
When VC_Redistribution package is not installed on the windows system.
This issue occurs because the Prelogon service relies on certain DLLs included in the VC_Redistributable package. If this package isn't installed, the issue will arise.
