Symptoms

Intermittent traffic failures for traffic in a tenant on VLANs with round-robin DAG enabled. In particular, this can manifest as monitor traffic intermittently failing (pool members flapping).

Impact

Intermittent traffic disruption. This often manifests as ICMP monitors intermittently failing, but will also impact virtual server traffic and other protocols (e.g. UDP and TCP).

Conditions

- Tenant running BIG-IP v17.1.2 or above - VLAN is configured for round-robin DAG (RRDAG) in the tenant ("dag-round-robin enabled") - Host is one of the following platforms: -- r5000, r10000, or r12000-series appliance -- VELOS - Host is running F5OS-A 1.8.0 or above (rSeries appliance) or F5OS-C 1.8.0 or above (VELOS chassis)
