Symptoms

An error is logged: snmp-trapd[11]: priority="Err" version=1.0 msgid=0x2101000000000010 msg="Trap Name is missing in the Request.".

Impact

An error is logged but otherwise has no functional impact.

Conditions

There is an event generated from diag-agent that does not have AlertName in the request. It happens in two scenarios: 1) Connection failure to KMIP Server 2) Performing Key Rotation

Workaround

None.

Fix Information

Passing the alarm name to alertd-service endpoint for disk encryption has fixed this issue
