Symptoms

After upgrading F5OS, the message "Firmware updates are currently in progress" does not go away.

Impact

The message is misleading. The firmware update has actually completed successfully, but the system state is not updated appropriately. Users have no way of knowing when all firmware updates have actually completed.

Conditions

After an F5OS upgrade.

Workaround

Wait for 24hrs, and then reboot the system.
