Symptoms

If you modify and revert the changes in a packet-filter rule, the reverted changes are not removed. The packet-filter rule fails to match after modifying filter expression to "none" (empty) from non-empty filter expression

Impact

Cannot modify the packet filter rules effectively and it may cause traffic failures based on configuration.

Conditions

-- Create packet-filter rule. -- Modify the rule and revert it back. The reverted changes are not removed.

Workaround

Execute "load sys config" after reverting the filter rule.
