Pool member monitoring does not respect the interval set in the monitor configuration.
Possibly marking down pool members after a single ping failure or delayed reply.
Many pools rely on FQDNs that are linked to servers owned by external organizations, which have their own integrated distributed system architectures in place. Due to processes within these organizations, the domain names associated with FQDN pools often change frequently, causing the pool members to update just as often. To minimize disruptions to existing client connections, BIG-IP employs a smoothing mechanism to stabilize monitoring over time. However, this smoothing process can lead to delays in the ping intervals for existing pool members, deviating from the originally configured monitoring schedule.
Avoid creating FQDN pool member linked to organization with their own integrated distributed system architectures
