Symptoms

TMM may crash when a policy dynamically disables and re-enables L7 DoS through multiple rules.

Impact

Traffic disrupted while tmm restarts.

Conditions

-- A policy containing multiple rules that disable and then re-enable L7 DoS is attached to a virtual server. -- An L7 DoS profile is attached to the same virtual server. -- The policy rule that re-enables L7 DoS does not specify the from-profile attribute. -- Traffic passes through tmm.

Workaround

Modify the policy rules that enable L7 DoS to explicitly include the from-profile attribute referencing the attached DoS profile.

Fix Information

Handle policy rules that enable L7 DoS without the from-profile attribute in cases where L7 DoS was previously disabled.
